We’ve got some brilliant news to share – our COO, Laura Hudspith, has been nominated for not one, but four categories at the Women in Green Business Awards 2026.

Laura has been nominated for:

  • Corporate Sustainability Lead of the Year
  • Leader of the Year
  • Business of the Year
  • Small Business of the Year

If you’ve worked with Laura, you’ll know exactly why she’s on that list. She brings real commitment to sustainability – not just as a box to tick, but as something that genuinely shapes how we work and the decisions we make as a business. From the way we structure our team to the clients we choose to work with, sustainability isn’t a side note at Hiyield – it’s central to everything – and Laura is a big part of why that’s true.

As COO, Laura oversees the operations, culture, and direction of the business – making sure that our values aren’t just something we write on a website, but something we actually live day to day. That means everything from how we hire and support our team, to how we show up for clients, to the broader commitments we make as a business. It’s a big job, and she does it brilliantly.

The Women in Green Business Awards celebrate the leaders, businesses, and changemakers driving sustainable progress across the green economy. This year, over 1,000 nominations were submitted, so being recognised across four categories is no small thing.

We’re a certified B Corp and 80% employee-owned, so sustainability and doing business the right way are pretty close to our hearts. Having Laura nominated for awards that champion exactly those values feels like a brilliant reflection of the team and culture we’ve built together.

The finalists will be announced in June. Then the winners will be revealed at the awards ceremony in London on 7th October. We’ll be keeping our fingers firmly crossed.

For now – congratulations, Laura. So well deserved!
