With COP30 now taking place in BelĂ©m, climate conversations feel especially urgent. There’s a global push for more honesty, more transparency, and more action – not just promises.

For us at Hiyield, it’s been a meaningful moment, as we recently helped launch two digital projects created specifically for COP30.

Both focus on helping people see what’s really happening: the progress, the gaps, and the opportunities to do better. And that’s something we care about deeply.

Shining a light on livestock methane

We recently worked with the Changing Markets Foundation to build the Methane Action Tracker – an interactive platform designed to unpack how countries, retailers, and big food companies are responding to agricultural methane.

Methane is a powerful but often overlooked driver of climate change. Bringing all the data together (from national policies to supermarket commitments) helps show where leadership exists and where action is still missing.

Our job was to make this information easy to explore. Clear design, simple navigation, and a user experience that lets journalists, campaigners, and policymakers quickly get to what matters. With food systems and methane reduction high on the COP30 agenda, this kind of visibility feels more important than ever.

A fresh new look for the Forest Climate Leaders’ Partnership

We also supported the Forest Climate Leaders’ Partnership (FCLP) with a website refresh. Greenhouse Communications led the design direction, and we brought it to life – creating a cleaner, more flexible site that better reflects the work FCLP does to protect and restore forests globally.

The refresh focused on helping users find the right information without noise or clutter. Forests are front and centre at COP30, and now the FCLP platform presents its mission and progress in a clearer, more approachable way.

Why this kind of work matters

Although these two projects are very different, they share a common thread: they make climate action more transparent and more accessible.

As world leaders discuss ambition, finance, forests, and food systems at COP30, tools like these provide the evidence and insights needed to drive real progress

We’re proud to play even a small part in that.
