The Camp at The Wave microsite
With The Wave fully up and running, they were excited to level-up their customer experience. Introducing, The Camp at The Wave.
The Camp at The Wave
A seamless microsite that shows off The Camp's beauty
The problem
With the 21 beautiful tents pitched up, The Wave team briefed us on a brand new microsite. It will be the central source of displaying their new venture and seamlessly helping customers book their stay.
- Quick time scale
- It needs to beautifully present The Camp
- Integrate a booking system (Anytime Booking)
- Have a custom calendar widget
UX & UI Design
Users were central to designing The Camp at The Wave’s website. The information architecture was designed to be effortless for the users to explore The Tents, the entire The Wave Experience and to book. The user journey was simply divided into two pages with clear call to actions throughout the site, helping funnel users through a new journey to book a stay at The Camp at The Wave.
The build
With a tight timescale, we had three of our top developers working away at The Camp at The Wave website. It was built for WordPress using Guttenberg Editor so content can easily be populated and managed by The Wave team.
- WordPress & its Guttenberg Editor
- Standard HTML, CSS, PHP
- Custom calendar widget
- Responsive design
THE CAMP AT THE WAVE
The result
Through effective communication and collaboratively working with The Wave team, our designers and our developers, we rapidly produced a microsite without skipping a step in our process. The Camp at The Wave is in fact now live and taking on bookings. The UX design we proposed is flowing beautifully, from the user landing on the home page and navigating through to booking complete. Follow the screens below to guide you through, or if you fancy it, browse the site here.
“We worked with Hiyield to build a microsite for the launch of our brand new campsite. We had a tight timescale to work with but the process smooth every step of the way. Hiyield felt like an extension of our team. We were ready to be inundated with questions from our customers but this didn’t happen, which is a real testament to the usability of the microsite. We’ve had great feedback from both customers and internal stakeholders. We’re now looking forward to working with Hiyield on our next project.”
